Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects in the region. The ideal candidate will have strong ties to the local community and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

This role sits within our Community Development group, where you will work on a range of VIC projects in land development, subdivision, commercial buildings, and infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.
  • Lead project delivery by providing management skills to ensure end products meet client and stakeholder expectations.
  • Establish project plans, including resourcing, finance, risk, and quality, to ensure all aspects of the project are planned prior to execution.
  • Perform on technically complex projects and may act as a technical resource to other team members.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or relevant technical qualification.
  • 7 years of experience in civil project management, with a focus on land development and civil projects.
  • Proven ability to deliver large projects, undertake day-to-day project coordination, develop, and execute project plans, and programming.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in managing stakeholders in a complex environment.
