About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Financial Support Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will provide dedicated support to customers experiencing financial difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer applications and make recommendations for suitable solutions.
  • Determine appropriate actions to support customers in financial hardship.
  • Review initial customer lending through summary Loan File checks, if applicable.
  • Provide empathy and direct customers to counseling services when necessary.
  • Guide and inform customers when a Hardship Notice is present.
  • Maintain contact with customers until their financial difficulties are resolved or other solutions are found.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Experience in a similar role (desired but not mandatory).
  • Tertiary qualifications (desired but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment (desired).
  • Banking and lending experience (desired but not mandatory).
