Expert Financial Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Adelaide Audit team at BDO Australia. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, leveraging your expertise and experience to drive business growth and excellence.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
About the Role- Execute audits of listed companies, large private companies, and not-for-profit clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the design of audit approaches, identifying potential risks and issues, and developing strategies to address them.
- Collaborate closely with engagement managers to identify problem areas or budget difficulties, working together to find solutions.
- Lead engagements independently, reporting directly to Partners as needed, and coordinating with clients to identify future opportunities.
- Demonstrated external audit experience in a professional services firm.
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, including listed entities.
- Able to identify scope and solve problems effectively.
- Passion for leading and developing teams, with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Audit software.
