Senior Auditor Position at BDO Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Adelaide Audit team at BDO Australia. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, leveraging your expertise and experience to drive business growth and excellence.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

About the Role
  • Execute audits of listed companies, large private companies, and not-for-profit clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to the design of audit approaches, identifying potential risks and issues, and developing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate closely with engagement managers to identify problem areas or budget difficulties, working together to find solutions.
  • Lead engagements independently, reporting directly to Partners as needed, and coordinating with clients to identify future opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated external audit experience in a professional services firm.
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, including listed entities.
  • Able to identify scope and solve problems effectively.
  • Passion for leading and developing teams, with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Audit software.
