The Paint Store Leader will be responsible for driving success through profitability, strong customer service, and effective merchandising. Key responsibilities include developing measures to achieve sales and profit targets, managing store operations, building relationships with customers, maintaining high store standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Maintain high store standards, ensuring stock replenishment, visual displays, and merchandising are always up to date.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
- Inventory management and stock level adjustment to meet consumer demand and seasonal changes.
- Recruit, onboard, and coach new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Previous retail management experience with a strong desire to succeed.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a trusting team.
- Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships via effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence and organisational skills to delegate tasks and roles effectively.
- Experience servicing both trade and retail customers and growing a business.
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen, such as understanding P&L reports; inventory management, rostering, and controlling expenses.
- Requirement for a driver's licence and the capacity to perform manual tasks, e.g. lifting of 15L cans of paint.
- Ability to effectively handle conflict and work under pressuring timelines.
- Ability to build a strong team, utilising strengths and providing leadership where development is required.
