About the Role

The HSE Advisor will provide critical support to various projects to ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment management systems. This role will also assist the Senior HSE Advisor in overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of health, safety, and environment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Workplace Inspections and Schedule Compliance
  2. Lead HSE Investigations
  3. Conduct Audits, Risk Assessments, and Hazard Analysis
  4. Support Health Awareness and Management
  5. Assist in Developing Procedures and Safe Work Methods Statements
  6. Support Business HSE Reporting and Communication of HSE Trends
  7. Coordinate Fitness for Work Initiatives, Including Drug and Alcohol Testing
Requirements
  1. Hold a Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
  2. Hold a Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Health, Safety & Environment, or a Similar Discipline
  3. Have a Working Knowledge of HSE and Legislation
  4. Experience in Conducting HSE Incident Investigations, Utilizing an Industry-Recognized Investigation Methodology, Such as ICAM
  5. Experience in Providing Advice and Support to Management on Operational Matters Relating to HSE
  6. Experience in Conducting Management System Audits and Hold Internal Auditors Training
  7. Have an Intermediate Level of IT Literacy, Including the MS Office Suite
  8. Be a Service-Oriented Team Player with a 'Can Do' Attitude and Extensive Experience Building and Maintaining Strong Working-Relationships with Internal & External Stakeholders Alike
  9. Hold a Current Driver's Licence and the Ability to Travel Between Facilities
