Senior Aged Care Leader

We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential aged care residence in Leeton. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operational leadership and be able to manage a team of experienced aged care professionals.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an experienced aged care professional looking to take on a leadership role. As Aged Care Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that residents receive an exceptional standard of clinical care and that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and direction to the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional clinical care and maintain high care standards.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential aged care residence, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation requirements.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with external teams to ensure governance and quality improvement initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Care Management: Lead and support the Clinical Care Manager on-site and supervise Registered Nurses to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered.
- Skills and Experience: Proven operational leadership skills & experience, proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desirable).
- Knowledge and Certifications: Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles, knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation and ANACC, Current First Aid Certificate, Valid police check clearance.
