Job Opportunity: Corporate & Commercial Lawyer
- Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including contracts and agreements.
- Work on matters related to corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including due diligence, analysis of legal, contractual, and other issues, and attending to regulatory matters.
- Liaise with clients and corporate and other advisers, as well as other groups within the firm who provide input on M&A issues.
- Attend to the completion of transactions.
- Be part of a team on other commercial transactions, such as capital raisings, joint ventures, and management equity structures.
- Other commercial contracts as needed.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role in corporate and commercial law with significant learning and development opportunities. You will work with a broad mix of local and international clients, including business owners, private investors, boards, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2-6 years post-admission experience in a corporate and commercial practice.
- Experience in M&A transactions.
- Analytical and drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong commercial acumen; technical excellence and drive.
