Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Logistics Manager to join our team at FLSmidth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely managing warehouse operations to meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely delivery to customers.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize warehouse space.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and customers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and other contractual terms.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a warehouse logistics or inventory management role, preferably in the mining or cement industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, including cycle counting and stock taking procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
