Automotive Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Trainer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver the Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis qualifications with a focus on quality education and training.
  • To develop and maintain learning resources, assessment tools, and evaluate student performance.
  • To assess and validate student competencies against industry standards.
  • To provide constructive feedback to students and support their learning needs.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a VET qualification at least to the level of delivery or higher.
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent upgrades if holding TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Recent industry/professional experience within the automotive sector.
  • Previous RTO Training and Assessment experience is preferred, but highly motivated recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • A strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner.
  • Ability to work with international students of various age groups and backgrounds.
  • Availability to work over weekends.
  • Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise workload efficiently within timelines.
  • Engaging presentation and classroom management skills.
  • High level of interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow work processes designed to meet quality assurance and compliance requirements.
