Technical Lead for Data Science

We are seeking a hands-on leader to drive the technical and professional development of our data science team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that team members have the skills and resources to deliver high-quality, impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning among team members.
  • Contribute to our enterprise-wide AI strategy, collaborating with product and technology teams to drive regional adoption.
  • Provide technical direction for the Data Science team, embedding industry best practices.
  • Work with data and analytics functions to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Become familiar with agile chapters and work within a matrixed environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated record of building and mentoring data science teams.
  • 10+ yrs of experience with solid understanding of data science industry best practices.
  • Ability to understand business drivers and align technical strategy to achieve them.
  • Extensive experience working effectively with other Data & Analytics, Product, and Technology functions.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong experience working in agile chapters and working in a matrixed environment.
  • Possession of a growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GCP and working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
  • Productionizing agentic model monitoring or leading data science solutions that impact complex customer groups.
  • Demonstrated experience building and developing data science teams.
