Our organisation is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Strategist to play a pivotal role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and inventory planning.
- Analyse historical data, market trends, and customer insights to refine planning strategies.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability aligns with business needs.
- Monitor and report on stock levels, identifying and addressing potential supply chain disruptions.
- Work closely with sales and marketing to understand promotions and product launches.
- Review and improve demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimisation and cost reduction.
- Maintain and manage key demand planning tools and systems.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience in demand planning within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- A strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain operations.
