Job Description

This role involves leading the technical assessment of water supply and sewerage networks to address drivers such as growth, compliance, network performance improvement and renewals by undertaking strategic and master planning, options assessments, feasibility investigations and detailed planning projects. As a key team member, you will be responsible for leading and undertaking key technical tasks across a broad range of high-profile water infrastructure projects.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
  • Planning of water supply and sewerage networks and an understanding of their operation.
  • Preparing and delivering effective and engaging presentations and workshops.
  • Leading project scoping or proposal development.
  • Understanding and implementation of hydraulic principles including some experience in hydraulic modelling.
  • Analytics techniques and use of decision support methodologies such as MCA, risk assessments, opportunities and constraints, costs and benefits etc.
  • The use of GIS and Excel to interrogate and assess data.
  • Preparation of reports and maps.
  • A recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent.
  • Chartered status CPENG is an advantage.
