Expert Clinical Nurse Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinical nurse consultant to provide expert advice and guidance on clinical matters related to donor testing. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: life-giving donations, for life-changing outcomes.

This role is responsible for providing high-level clinical expertise and contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate certificate in sexual health or equivalent experience, as well as a minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience in a relevant area of practice. They will possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively use problem-solving, change management and conflict resolution frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical nursing subject matter expertise for the provision of donor post-test result management and counselling.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to clinical services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of clinical services.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate certificate in sexual health or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience in a relevant area of practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
