About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Valuer to join our Brisbane Valuations & Advisory team. As an Assistant Valuer, you will provide analytical and technical support to our Directors, working on a range of projects, including residential and commercial valuations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate valuations under supervision, supporting the delivery of client transactions.
- Undertake financial and sensitivity analysis to support business-winning teams.
- Verify and audit data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Compile and verify market evidence for reports.
- Prepare and modify computer cashflow models.
- Provide direct assistance to enable the Valuations team to effectively undertake its functions.
- Work closely with Sales and Leasing Services teams to maintain technical competency.
- Attend client functions and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Requirements
- Completed or nearing completion of tertiary qualifications in a property-related field.
- A passion for the property industry and a strong understanding of real estate principles.
- High degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service ethic.
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
- Ability to work under tight time constraints and multitask.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
