The role of a Mechanical Operator involves working with our campervan workshop team to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:Repair and Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on campervans including engines, brakes, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Diagnose mechanical and technical issues using tools and technology to identify problems effectively.
- Conduct repairs on campervan-specific components such as water systems, heating systems, and appliances.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with regulatory requirements.
- Test vehicle systems and components after repair to confirm proper functioning.
Workshop Support:
- Assist the Mechanical Leader in prioritizing and organizing repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards.
Inventory and Documentation:
- Record all work performed including parts used, repairs completed, and any recommendations for future maintenance.
- Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical, or a similar program in the automotive industry.
- At least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs, experience in campervans is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree preferred.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License.
- English proficiency and good communication skills.
