Job Title: Advanced Clinical Nurse

Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development and implementation of nursing practices.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care, manage complex cases, and provide education and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced level clinical care to patients with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to promote best practice and professional growth
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing degree or higher qualification
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably in addiction services
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
