Financial Services Audit Professional

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Audit professional to join our team in Sydney. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis and involves leading fieldwork, managing performance, coaching junior team members, and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Auditor delivering external audit and assurance engagements to clients in the financial services industry. They will also have experience leading the planning, execution, and reporting on audits, as well as developing and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fieldwork and manage performance
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
  • Keep engagement leaders updated on audit engagements
  • Effectively manage Audit processes with consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
  • Engage clients and provide advice and professionalism throughout transactions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Auditor delivering external audit and assurance engagements to clients in the financial services industry
  • Experience leading the planning, execution, and reporting on audits
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a collaborative approach to management

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters
