We are seeking an experienced and skilled Drill Rig Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Synaco Global Recruitment. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of drill rigs and associated equipment.
Salary: $50 flat rate per hour
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting, with experience working on exploration drill rigs and diesel engines. You will be required to assemble new drill rigs and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Assembly of new drill rigs and associated equipment.
- Maintenance and repair work on customers' drill rigs and equipment.
- Proactively ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all OH&S standards and practices.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as required.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
A qualified Diesel Fitter or Mechanical Fitter (essential).Previous experience working with exploration drill rigs.Expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and air compressors.Forklift and overhead crane ticket preferred.Strong understanding of maintenance systems and procedures.Commitment to workplace safety and OH&S compliance.What We OfferWe offer a supportive and team-oriented work environment, opportunities for growth and development within the role, and competitive remuneration package.
