Senior Structural Engineer

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Civmec. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of structural engineering components of projects, including the development of job instructions and liaison with clients on specific structural engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the structural engineering components of projects, aligned to the overall project execution plan.
- Provide support for bid preparation and client meetings, in conjunction with the sales department personnel.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to graduate engineers, ensuring tasked structural objectives are met.
- Participate in structural meetings and reviews with the engineering team, project team, and clients.
- Report key quantities, budget, deliverable status, and resulting progress, efficiency, and costs on structural engineering project progress.
- A Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent degree, recognised by Engineers Australia in the civil/structural discipline.
- 5 years + experience in engineering.
- Prior projects involvement in detailed design of structures/plants.
- Proficiency in the use of structural engineering software, including SPACE GASS, ANSYS, and Strand.
- In-depth understanding of relevant Australian Standards, including AS 4100, AS 3990, and AS 4324.1.
- Proficient knowledge in all Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
