Job Title: Light Vehicle Mechanic

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic. We are looking for an individual who can maintain our fleet of vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high vehicle reliability and availability through efficient repair and maintenance practices
  • Conduct pre-start checks on vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of work activities
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate in Automotive Mechanical or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in light vehicle mechanics
  • Demonstrated expertise in Toyota 4WDs and medium vehicles/buses
  • Leading Hand/Supervisor experience preferred
  • Mentoring and/or coaching experience preferred
