Procurement Expert for Global Supply Chain

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Expert to join our Supply Chain team in a Category Specialist role.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and tap into direct supply channels from domestic and international markets, managing the supply chain life cycle from sourcing, negotiation, contract management, supplier performance management, risk management, category management, and fulfilment.
- Build high-quality relationships with internal stakeholders and manage individual stakeholder and vendor relationships, visiting suppliers, stakeholders, and sites as required.
- Assist with supplier negotiations within delegated authority across multiple categories.
- Conduct supply market research, competitor assessments, market and technology trends analysis.
- Provide procurement support to the business in the Authority for Expenditure (AFE) process.
- Adhere to individual category material change and sourcing programs.
- Assist in developing best-practice systems for the supply chain, including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting, shipment tracking visibility, and KPIs.
- Support financial analysis and modelling, designing effective financials for tender documentation, post-tender analysis, logistics cost, and other costing modelling.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce, preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of procurement experience across multiple categories of spend.
- Previous experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structures.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in remote locations, is an advantage.
