MyneSight is a division of Metarock Group Limited, enhancing its Registered Training Organisation (RTO) portfolio following the acquisition of the Australian Institute of Mining.
Metarock is publicly listed on the ASX and oversees Mastermyne (specializing in Underground Coal Mining) and Pybar Mining Services (focused on Underground Hard Rock Mining). With a workforce exceeding 2000 across the East Coast of Australia and parts of Western Australia, we have established a robust presence over two decades, delivering contract mining services to coal and metalliferous clients.
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #31900), MyneSight provides accredited training and consulting services across the resources, ports, industrial, and public sectors. Established in Queensland since 2008, MyneSight has expanded into New South Wales, enabling the delivery of training programs throughout the East Coast of Australia.
MyneSight is currently experiencing substantial growth and is in search of qualified Trainer Assessors with underground coal expertise to deliver a variety of courses, including:
RII Certificate II in Underground Coal Mining RII Certificate III in Underground Coal Operations RII Certificate IV in Underground Coal Operations RII Diploma of Underground Coal Mining Management RIIHAN203E - Conduct lifting operations RIIUND207E - Conduct underground lifting operations MSMSUP205 - Transfer Loads CPCCLDG3001 - Licence to perform dogging RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces MSMWHS217 - Gas test atmospheres RIIWHS204E - Working safely at heights HLTAID011 - Provide first aid HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitationMyneSight is also expanding its metalliferous training offerings, so possessing the following qualifications or units of competency would be advantageous:
RII Certificate II in Underground Metalliferous Mining RII Certificate III in Underground Metalliferous Mining RII Certificate III in Resource Processing TLILIC0024 - Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane (capacity 10 tonnes and above); TLILIC0018 - Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity); RIIHAN305D - Operate a gantry or overhead crane; TLILIC0005 - Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more); RIIMPO336E - Conduct belly dump truck operations; RIIMPO337E – Conduct articulated haul truck operations; RIIMPO338E – Conduct rigid haul truck operations; RIIMPO308F - Conduct tracked dozer operations; RIIMPO309F - Conduct wheeled dozer operations; Mobile Equipment Fixed plant RIISAM212E - Service mine plant and equipment; TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a forklift truck; High-Risk Work LicencesCandidate Profile:
Our Trainer Assessors are characterized by their strong communication and presentation abilities, coupled with a commitment to personal and professional growth. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, adept problem solvers, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills necessary for delivering high-quality training programs. As we transition to digital assessments and online courses, proficiency with digital devices (laptop, iPad, etc.) is essential.
To qualify for this position, candidates should:
Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and time management skills Be self-motivated and dependable Hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or higher) Have demonstrated experience in facilitation Be comfortable using digital devices (laptop, iPad, etc.)Experience in the mining sector is a prerequisite.
