Job Title: Distribution Centre Manager

SunRice is seeking an experienced leader to oversee warehouse operations and inventory management at our Leeton site.

This key role will involve delivering first-class and safe operations within warehouse, distribution, and inventory functions.

About The Role:
  • Manage finished rice and snacking products as well as the Material Store where packaging and ingredients are stored.
  • Oversee inventory management and controls across the Wamoon Distribution Centre and wider Mill site.
  • Support Warehouse and Mill operations teams by reviewing and developing processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain an effective supply cycle within the Stores to ensure consistent material supply to support operations.
  • Support, manage, and develop the Distribution Centre team.
About You:

We are looking for a decisive and resilient leader with excellent communication skills, strong organisational and planning skills, and a natural ability to influence others.

Required Skills And Experience:
  • At least 5 years' experience in warehouse management including inventory control and operations.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operations process flow and planning processes.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing diverse teams.
  • Ability to listen, identify customer needs, and solve problems.
  • Experience in SAP environment.
  • Strong safety focus.

  1. Lead warehouse operations, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods.
  2. Develop and maintain efficient inventory management systems.
  3. Collaborate with warehouse and mill operations teams to drive process improvement.
  4. Ensure smooth supply chain operations through effective inventory control.
  5. Coach and develop distribution centre team members.
