The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a skilled and dedicated paediatric endocrinologist to join our team. As a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of our department's clinical programs. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional outcomes for children with endocrine conditions and diabetes.

We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional who possesses:

  • Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology (FRACP or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of electronic medical records and IT systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy flexible work arrangements, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative work environment.

About the Role

Job Summary

This is a permanent part-time position at 4 sessions per fortnight within the Department of Endocrinology & Diabetes. As a leading paediatric endocrinologist, you will provide exemplary standards of clinical practice, supervise junior medical staff, and contribute to educational activities within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent clinical care for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions and diabetes
  • Supervise and support junior medical staff (Fellows and SRMO) and train department staff and medical students
  • Participate in team meetings and educational activities
