About the Design Manager Role

A design manager leads innovative solutions, drives collaboration across teams, and brings architectural excellence to life from concept to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure design documentation is compliant and practical to deliver.
  • Work autonomously at times and closely with stakeholders for quality outcomes.
  • Manage the entire design process from tender to practical completion.
  • Drive value management to provide the best possible outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and authorities.
  • Plan, create, and control project delivery — manage approval processes and cost plans according to program and project requirements.
Requirements

You will be a methodical individual with a creative streak adept at investigating project opportunities and efficiencies.

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
  • Minimum of 5 years' practical experience in a similar design management role.
  • Green Star and NABERS project delivery and accreditation are favorable.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator.
