Leadership Development Specialist - Opportunity for Impact

We are seeking a passionate leadership development specialist with experience in delivering impactful capability programs within the mining sector. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Driving the implementation of leadership development programs across the organisation
  • Leading succession planning and talent initiatives to empower our people to make a difference
  • Facilitating programs to help embed OBM values and build high-performance teams
  • Coordinating annual engagement surveys and implementing organisation-wide initiatives to support high levels of engagement
  • Coordinating performance development discussions, including quarterly check-ins and development plans
  • Assisting with coordination of early careers development programs
  • Working with WHS teams to implement psychosocial hazard management initiatives
  • Driving employee communication initiatives

This role will be offered on a fixed-term basis for 8 months. To be considered, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational psychology, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in organisational development with a focus on leadership and talent strategies
  • A flair for influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong project delivery skills
  • Solid understanding of internal communication strategy and mediums
  • High energy and strong work ethic
  • A passion for making a difference in people's professional journeys
  • Creative, innovative, and solutions-focused
  • Experience in the mining or resource sector preferred
  • Experience in generalist HR desirable
