Warehouse Operations Leader Position

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse operations.
The primary focus of this role will be on leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all aspects of the warehouse's functions. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, organising shipments, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
- To mentor and direct the store people in all aspects of warehousing.
- Communication with the Dispatch Coordinator on issues and delays.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of your team.
- All outbound loads to be organised and staged for efficient turnaround time of outbound trucks.
- Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items.
- Consolidate stock to create more room for inbound stock, including the merge/amalgamation of packs.
- Forklift operation (as required).
- Enforce MHE daily checks e.g. tyres, lights, water, grease, horn.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report MHE damage or property damage immediately.
This is a key leadership role requiring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, organisational ability, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- 3 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
- 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Australia Work Authorisation.
