Job Description:

As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic at our state-of-the-art depot, you will focus on the repair, servicing, and maintenance of our heavy vehicle road transport and plant machinery.

This role is based at our 120,000 square meter facility located next to Tonkin Highway. The depot features modern infrastructure and technology, promoting a healthy work-life balance within an inclusive and diverse workplace.

Your Role in Action

  1. Perform routine and major repairs on road transport vehicles and plant equipment
  2. Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and complies with industry standards
  3. Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and rectify problems related to servicing and maintenance of heavy vehicles
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Base Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Mechanical applications – Heavy automotive / Heavy Vehicle Road Transport
  • Industry experience as a Heavy Vehicle / Mobile Plant Mechanic
  • Experience in diagnosis and repair of hydraulics / low voltage electrical systems
  • Strong teamwork skills, able to work as part of a high-performing team
  • Valid WA 'C' class licence (essential)
  • High Risk licences: EWP (Desirable), Dogging (Desirable), Forklift (Desirable)
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate classes HVW and LVW (willing to obtain within first 6 months)
