About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Parks and Gardens team as a General Hand. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our Memorial Park and contributing to new projects that enhance the look and feel of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and construction tasks, including participating in burial duties and assisting with cremation duties on a rotating roster.
  • Contribute to new projects that improve the look and feel of our facilities.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families and clients.
About You

We are looking for someone who is highly customer-focused, adaptable, and flexible. You will have the ability to perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks, indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. You will also have:

  • Horticultural, gardening, or landscaping experience (preferably).
  • The capacity to perform heavy lifting, landscaping, and general maintenance duties for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the public.
  • A willingness to work in a cemetery and crematorium environment.
  • A current manual, unrestricted driver's license.
