Job Title: Head of Operational Risk

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk management team in Sydney. This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and managing the framework and associated policies and procedures, challenging and advising on their implementation and risk exposures in the business.

The function is independent and organisationally segregated from business line management and employees that originate risk exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing the framework and associated policies and procedures
  • Challenging and advising on the implementation of the framework
  • Managing risk exposures in the business
  • Enhancing the risk culture at a business level across the company

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in risk management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge and advise on risk exposure
  • Knowledge of risk frameworks and policies
