The Strategic Sourcing Portfolio Manager leads a diverse array of procurement initiatives across various categories of spend.
- Develop and deliver best practice initiatives with key stakeholders at senior and executive levels.
- Strategic sourcing and category management strategies to deliver optimal commercial outcomes while managing high-value Scientific Research, Medical Equipment and world-class Engineering related categories.
Executing sourcing and demand strategies combined with commercial negotiations from a global supply base ensures compliance with supplier governance and management frameworks.
This role presents an interesting opportunity to develop a varied remit and deliver excellence measured by quality, risk, ethics, value and social environmental responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic sourcing and category management
- Commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Supplier governance and management
Requirements:
- Approachable and calm demeanor paired with crisp critical reasoning
- Backgrounds in sourcing hospital equipment and consumables, laboratory and research equipment, complex technologies, R&D, scanning and imagery, astronomy or analogous fields are highly regarded
