Underground Electrician Job

We are looking for a skilled Underground Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in underground mine site operations, electrical testing and maintenance, and adherence to OEM guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on various projects, including installation of U/G reticulation, RCT tele remote systems, and underground communication systems. You will be part of a dynamic team that values safety, quality, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fully trade qualified electrician with underground mine site experience
  • Current WA Electrical licence
  • Current HV Switching ticket
  • First aid and CPR training
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card (advantageous)

This role involves working an 8 and 6 roster on 12hr shifts, FIFO from Perth, installation of U/G reticulation, breakdown/maintenance of U/G drilling equipment, installation of RCT tele remote systems, installation of underground communication system and updating drawings, maintenance and breakdown repairs to electrical plant U/G, daily pre-shift meetings, statutory documentation completion, electrical testing and recording, update of Single line drawings, asset registers and installation tasks, handover to crossover shift, and carrying out work in accordance with OEM and Redpath guidelines.
