Sharepoint Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Sharepoint administrator to fill this key role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 2 support for the Sharepoint information management platform, including permissions, site configurations, and metadata management.
  • Communicate information management policies and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Sharepoint development team to resolve technical issues and ensure a seamless end-user experience.
  • Develop training resources for Sharepoint users and level 1 service desk support, as needed.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for Sharepoint content managers.
  • Work closely with the agency information manager to contribute to the development of information management policies and strategies.
  • Assist in the records-management of Sharepoint content, including transfers, disposals, and migrations, in accordance with information governance framework and relevant legislation.
  • Support the provision of a consistent, efficient, and compliant information and records management environment.

Requirements:

  • Respond to service requests for lvl 2 Sharepoint support in accordance with agreed service level agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of Sharepoint content movement, deletion, or transfer.
  • Prepare regular reports on Sharepoint content metrics, as directed.
  • Attend and contribute to Sharepoint governance meetings.
  • Provide expert advice to the agency information manager on emerging issues or opportunities regarding Sharepoint information management capability.
