Resident Care Specialist

  • Encourage resident participation in activities and hobbies
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services
  • Develop and deliver engaging events and activities that promote socialization and well-being
  • Provide direct care during activities such as bus trips, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting
  • Support residents with meal service, mobility, and social interaction
  • Maintain a collaborative team environment and provide support to colleagues
  • Adhere to safety protocols and policies to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents
Requirements for Success
  • A compassionate heart and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to seniors
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • Reliability and commitment to teamwork
  • Respect for residents' values, customs, and spiritual beliefs
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance
