As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing, planning, and implementing lifestyle activities and programs that enhance the social, psychological, recreational cultural, and spiritual wellbeing of our residents.

About this Role:

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
  • Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents, involving the wider community, volunteers, and family and friends where possible
  • Act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the lifestyle team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents by following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A kind heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualification
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Great IT skills - tested during the hiring process
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
