Hard rock mining companies require skilled Underground Shift Supervisors to oversee production and development teams. In this role, you will work closely with the Mine Foreman to ensure a safe working environment for your team and comply with all safety and standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities include providing front-line supervision and guidance to production and development crews, motivating team members, and delivering regular performance feedback. You will also coordinate all jumbo activities, including bolting, screening, and boring, ensuring efficiency and quality of development work.

In addition to these tasks, you will oversee production drilling, mucking, and hauling operations to meet daily and long-term productivity targets and KPIs. You will conduct daily safety interactions and required administrative tasks, mentor crew members on best practices, and promote positive safety standards.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of underground mining experience and 3-5 years in a supervisory role. Production mining experience is an asset, as well as strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
