Job Overview

We are seeking an educator to deliver educational programs and initiatives that enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver the induction and onboarding program for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Develop and facilitate education and training programs for all Residential Aged Care employees to meet role expectations and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Conduct education and training needs analysis and develop a learning plan to address identified gaps, enabling employees to upskill and reskill.

Requirements

  • Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment or equivalent qualification in adult education and training.
  • Experience in delivering education and training programs using adult learning principles, including classroom instruction and workshop facilitation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations and Aged Care Legislation, as well as quality standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Previous experience working in a Residential Aged Care setting, with a strong understanding of the sector's challenges and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, leveraging strengths to achieve shared goals.
  • COVID vaccination and willingness to obtain an NDIS check, in line with industry requirements.
