Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chronic & Complex Allied Health Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of Allied Health services, ensuring the provision and development of high-quality preventative, early intervention, and treatment services for clients with chronic and complex care health issues.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position that will involve day-to-day operational management of Allied Health multidisciplinary teams based in Community Health, including Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of Allied Health services to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary clinical teams to achieve strategic objectives;
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, and healthcare professionals;
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote best practice in Allied Health service delivery;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant clinical qualifications in an Allied Health related field and extensive clinical experience;
  • Substantial recent experience in managing multidisciplinary clinical teams and effective staff management and clinical leadership skills;
  • High-level communication and analytical skills, including proven experience in managing clinical activity and performance monitoring;
  • Proven knowledge and experience of primary care and community health clinical service delivery and clinical practice models;
  • Understanding of Integrated & Community Health, in particular Chronic & Complex related health policies and strategic frameworks;
  • Proven organisational and planning ability;
  • Knowledge and experience of quality processes and a commitment to the implementation of best practice and clinical service innovation;
  • A current valid driver's license in Australia and willingness to use it for work purposes.
