Accounting Trainee Position

We are seeking enthusiastic undergraduates or graduates who aspire to begin their career in accounting.

Requirements for the Role:
  • Currently studying, or recently completed, a Bachelor degree in Commerce / Accounting.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • An eagerness to learn in a practical 'hands-on' environment.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Support with reception duties and administrative tasks.
  • Preparation of template letters to clients.
  • Basic tax returns and BAS preparation for clients under senior accountant and partner guidance.
  • Assistance with financial statements preparation for a wide range of clients with guidance from senior accountants and partners.
  • Work completion using established workpapers.
  • Team member communication and collaboration with senior accountants and partners.
  • Client interaction and issue resolution in a practical manner, providing clients with a positive experience.
  • A positive attitude in the workplace.
