
Water Treatment Specialist

Shape the future of water services in our region by developing your skills and expertise as a Water Treatment Coordinator.
- Maintain high quality treatment of water through reliable operation of treatment plants, reservoirs, booster pump stations, and laboratory services.
- Lead and motivate teams in their daily roles to ensure provision of high quality drinking water to local communities.
- Operate computer-based supervisory control and data acquisition systems for effective management of water resources.
- Ensure 24-hour emergency response to address faults and failures at treatment plants, reservoirs, and pumping stations.
- Supervise maintenance and operation of water supply treatment assets in accordance with council policies and procedures.

This role requires:
- Certificate IV in Water Operations (treatment)
- Solid experience in supervising water or sewage treatment plants and associated staff
- Demonstrated competency in computer operation and data entry
- Experience in telemetry operations
- Class C drivers license
We're looking for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical trade skills, particularly those with Mechanical/Electrical Trade Certificates or equivalent.
