Commercial Finance Leader

This 6-month position has become available due to an internal movement. We are seeking a commercially focused leader who will provide exceptional leadership to achieve and improve strategic financial outcomes.
As a key member of our team, you will lead the Finance Business Partnering and Financial Planning and Analysis teams to uplift and strengthen our commercial approach, capability, and maturity across the section and the enterprise.
The key to your success will be your commercial mindset and ability to influence at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide commercially focused leadership in the Finance Business Partnering and Financial Planning and Analysis teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and driving value through strategic financial insights.
- Deliver a Total Expenditure view of investment spend to fully understand the impact on the Enterprise of the decision.
- Build financial capability and acumen by championing initiatives that uplift financial literacy and acumen across the business.
- Identify and manage risks and benefits associated with implementing business strategies and plans.
- Extensive Financial Management experience within a complex corporate environment or commercial aspects of running a government business enterprise or private sector utility.
- Experience in delivering long-term financial plans and strategic plans.
- People management experience within managing financial business partnering teams.
- Tertiary qualification and CPA/CA are essential.
