Job Title:

A Team Leader is needed for a Warehouse and Transport role.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead a team of warehouse and transport professionals in a fast-paced environment. Experience in logistics or transport is essential, with a focus on customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and customer-focused operations.
  • Plan and coordinate daily and next-day deliveries to meet DIFOT targets.
  • Oversee vehicle loading accuracy, load restraint, and Chain of Responsibility compliance.
  • Liaise with contractors and report operational issues to the Transport Manager.
  • Support scheduling, workforce planning, and delivery operations.
  • Keep vehicles, docks, and yard areas safe, clean, and compliant.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to your team to improve performance.
Requirements:

3+ years' experience in logistics or transport, with 1–2 years in a leadership or team leader role.

A safety-first mindset, strong manual handling awareness, and customer-focused approach are essential. Qualifications in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain are desirable.
