**Teaching for Diversity Role**

The teaching role in diversity is a critical position within the school community, requiring collaboration with leaders and teachers to deliver inclusive learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in inclusive education or equivalent, extensive experience as a classroom teacher, and expertise in literacy and numeracy support programs. They will also be willing to adapt to the needs of diverse student groups.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Collaborate with the diversity leader to determine suitable teaching approaches for students with additional needs.
  • Contribute to planning and implementing school programs with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Compliance with NSW child protection legislation and clearance through a Working with Children Check.
  • Eligibility to teach in NSW according to NESA standards.
  • Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% completion).
