Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to lead our team in designing and implementing scalable microservices architecture using RESTful APIs, Reactive, and Batch.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement microservices that meet the highest engineering standards.
  2. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure timely completion of development projects.
  3. Develop robust Java frameworks for multiple teams.
  4. Contribute to the design direction by actively participating in key initiatives.
  5. Check in and deploy code, participate in release management, and set up production monitoring.
  6. Take ownership of features/components from development through deployment and verification.
  7. Participate in technology-driven initiatives to improve capability, standards, and risk profile.
  8. Cultivate effective working relationships with other departments.
  9. Maintain a professional demeanor and utilize best judgment to advance company interests.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microservice Architecture and best practices.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring suite, and REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns.
  • Familiarity with Kafka and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of Jetty, Tomcat, and Websphere.
  • Domain Driven Design.
  • Java Performance Tuning.
  • Maven and CI Tools (Jenkins/Team City).
  • Agile methodologies and sprint cycles.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
