Project Overview

Luxoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a new digital experience platform for a major financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a new Futures product system using microservices architecture and Java Spring Boot.
  • Work closely with the team to migrate away from a monolithic legacy application and implement a distributed application based on microservices.
  • Participate in solution design and execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Collaborate with designers and front-end engineers to create reliable APIs and engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant working experience in Java development.
  • Experience building microservices on Kubernetes using Node JS.
  • Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Architecture certifications on AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with API Swagger design, Apache Kafka, and Confluent Kafka.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills, with experience in unit/integration and Non-Functional testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building microservices using Java Spring Boot.
  • Experience with logging & Monitoring tools like Open Telemetry & Cloud Observability.
  • Lightstep.
