The Industry Program Manager plays a pivotal role in spearheading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of industry initiatives. This role involves delivering strategically relevant and skills-driven programming to bolster industry capability, market access, and member success.

Program Leadership
  • Oversee the strategic planning and thematic direction of flagship events, reflecting the latest commercial and distribution trends, challenges, and opportunities in the industry.
  • Foster partnerships with leading screen professionals to curate session ideas and manage comprehensive program timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, negotiate, and secure high-profile speakers and strategic partners locally and internationally.
  • Ensure a consistently diverse, inclusive, and high-impact program, maintaining strong engagement with First Nations and underrepresented communities.
Project Management
  • Design and deliver annual industry programs, overseeing timelines, participant selection, and tailored professional development content.
  • Evaluate applications and select a high-calibre final cohort.
  • Maintain effective communication across live events, digital delivery, and media platforms.
Skill Set
  • Proven track record delivering high-impact industry events and programs for the screen sector.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian and international screen landscape and the evolving role of producers.
  • Strong project management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple channels.
  • Established networks across industry agencies, funders, streamers, and production companies.
  • Background as a producer or screen sector creative.
  • Familiarity with screen agency processes and funding cycles.
  • Experience in web publishing, CRM systems, and digital tools to support event delivery.
