We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Mount Isa, providing paediatric occupational therapy services to the local community.
About the Role:This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to work within a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical care and health promotion activities to children and families. The role involves working in primary health care clinics, providing assessment, intervention, and case management services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide paediatric occupational therapy services to children and families in Mount Isa and surrounding areas.
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of clients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for improvement.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote healthy lifestyles and independence.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHRPA).
- Experience in providing paediatric occupational therapy services.
- Strong understanding of the health issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary range of $82,000 to $128,000 per annum.
- Relocation allowance to Mount Isa.
