Field Service Technician Job

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team based in Adelaide, Australia.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs to engines at customer sites. You will also perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on engine and related components in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and complete less complex repairs to engines at customer sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians and/or supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets and timesheets.
  • Identify additional service opportunities with customers.
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained engine technician (preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit
  • Significant field service work experience
  • Expert level knowledge of engine products
  • Customer service experience
  • Technical advice and coaching skills (preferred)
