About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at JamesValé Recruitment. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional accounting and tax services to our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for all structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with Tax Planning Estimations and provide expert advice to clients on tax-related matters.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including year-end Annual Compliance Meetings and software training for clients.
  • Progress all work to manager review stage and review the work of other staff members.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a public practice, preferably in a senior accounting role.
  • Degree qualified with either a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Previous client contact experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using cloud accounting software packages such as Xero.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Well-organized and capable of working independently, with a positive and professional approach.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
