About the Role:

  • This role involves maintaining a clean and safe store environment for our customers by performing various cleaning tasks throughout the store.
  • You will be responsible for collecting trolleys from within and around the store and carpark, regardless of weather conditions.
  • This position requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning Tasks:
  • Complete a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store.
  • Use various equipment and cleaning products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors in the store, team rooms, toilets, and offices.
  • Clean shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains by dusting, wiping, and scrubbing.
Trolley Collection:
  • Collect trolleys from within and around the store and carpark, regardless of weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work flexible hours across our store trading days (including weekends), with shifts available between 5am and 11pm, 7 days a week.
  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
  • A keen eye for detail and cleanliness.
  • A passion for working safely and adhering to our health and safety practices.
  • The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a solid work ethic.
  • Be active and willing to perform moderate to heavy lifting, reaching, and pushing.
